While working with students and sailing aboard the Schooner Adventuress, I discovered the sweet town of Port Townsend Washington. I knew I had to stay for a while and to my delight there was a massage school in town gearing up for their fall program. It was one of thoes rare and magic times in life where everything falls into place and there is no uncertainty about what should be done.
I received a well rounded massage education and after graduating I returned to to the hills of Northern California to work in a friends massage practice.  I continued to massage in both spa and clinical settings over the next 8 years, as well as had an out call massage business on my own.  When I wan not doing massage, I was teaching on classic wooden sail boats on both the east and west coast of the US.  
In 2005-6 I studied Traditional Thai massage at Heartwood Institute and in 2016 I finally made the dream of studying massage in Thailand come true!
