My passion for healing comes from my own experiences with pain. I grew up in a large family where sports were not always prioritized but always encouraged. I was 9 years old when I discovered my love for performing arts. I began my journey as a performer in middle school where I participated in dance and colorguard. At 14 years old, I broke my tailbone but continued to participate in performing arts only to find myself playing roller derby 7 years later. The years I spent tossing and spinning flags, rifles, and sabers, dancing, skating, jumping over people on skates, and taking shoulder and hip checks on skates left my body tore up.
In school I learned the physiological things happening in my nerves and muscles which led me to my practice today. I specialize in injury recovery from car accidents to autoimmune disorder relief; utilizing neuromuscular techniques to relieve pain and restore range of motion to bring back a better quality of living. Before I started my practice, my experience comes from working at a spa, chiropractor's office, and a sports massage clinic. Whether you're looking for pain relief or relaxation, Tonic Bodywerk wants to help. Life is too short to be living in pain.
Tonic Bodywerk is a play on words. Tonic meaning a substance for healing or wellness. Bodywerk meaning working on your body for healing; werk for performing with extremely high level of excellence. When my name is spelled and abbreviated it looks like Toni C.
