Welcome to my Purposeful Massage studio!  

My name is Lynsey Wise, and I am a Licensed Massage Therapist in Fort Smith, Arkansas, and I began my career in 2005, in Tulsa, Oklahoma, where I worked under the training of Aveda Spa therapeutics, as a solo practitioner, and eventually with a chiropractor.  I took a break to enjoy several years as a paralegal and court clerk, returning to massage therapy full time in 2023.  I have received several certifications for Myofascial Release, and provide lymphatic massage using an essential oil blend of LymphFlow.  Most recently I have been working extensively with TMJD massage patients and providing work targeting myofascial restrictions, as well as continuing my spa work utilizing Plant Therapy and Bee Inspired skincare products for my Purposeful Massage Facials. 

I look forward to working with new patients, am grateful for returning massage patients, and as always, any referrals to my Purposeful Studio.  And, of course, tell your muscles I said "hi"!

I want to share an important update regarding our office policies, as there have been a few massage patients raising concerns the last few weeks and I find this new policy implementation necessary for the health and accessibility of each one of you!

OUTSIDE FRAGRANCE-FREE POLICY:  To protect patients who suffer from chronic migraines, asthma, and severe chemical sensitivities, I am moving to a strict scent-free environment. Moving forward, I kindly ask that my massage patients refrain from wearing perfumes, colognes, scented lotions, or heavy essential oils to all appointments.  Please note that clients who arrive wearing strong fragrances will be asked to reschedule to another time when they are scent-free. Scent particles linger on the table and in the room, as well as on modality products like (hot) towels, basalt hot stones, and any fabrics like the rug and upholstered chair, which can trigger intense physical symptoms for clients/patients coming in after these sessions.  I will continue utilizing Plant Therapy and Bee Inspired products, as these products are low-mild in scent and are not chemically altered as most perfumes/colognes and other scented products are.  I want to reiterate all of my linens and the studio space, itself, are sanitized and cleaned thoroughly after each session.
