Back in 2012, I scheduled a massage for myself. It was my very first massage, and let me tell you, I was FLOORED! I could not believe that my chronic neck pain and ever-present headache had both been quelled in the space of a mere hour of hands-on work, especially after suffering with constant discomfort for over a decade. ​ I wanted everyone around me, including my family, my friends, and my co-workers to feel the way I did in that moment. I felt absolutely free in my body, and I had been granted an immediate respite from my pain! ​ In September of 2013, I enrolled in evening classes at the Central Maryland School of Massage in Frederick, Maryland, and worked toward  my goal of becoming a licensed bodywork practitioner while simultaneously working over nights at a distribution center. Since graduating with honors from my massage therapy program, I have never stopped seeking out new approaches to pain-relief, and I am always excited to discover what wonders the human body can hold! ​ I specialize in treating the WHOLE person - Mind, Body, and Spirit - because I know that YOU are the expert when it comes to your own body! I want to hear exactly how you spend your day, how you feel and move in your body, and how you WANT to feel and move in your body. ​ Together we will explore your goals and collaborate on a treatment plan that will give you the best results possible so you can continue living your best life in YOUR unique body! ​ When I'm not massaging clients or honing my bodywork skills, I am spending quality time with my husband, Jason, and our German shepherd, Max. I also enjoy traveling, watching movies, gardening, and writing poems. ​ ​
