Hi, I’m Angela– It’s so lovely to meet you! I’ve always had a heart for helping people feel better — not just physically, but in the ways that help them breathe easier and feel more at home in their own bodies. For many years, I worked as a Registered Nurse , and while I valued every bit of that experience, I began to feel something missing. I was grateful to be part of people’s care, but I longed for a deeper connection — one that honored the person as a whole, not just their symptoms. I wanted to slow things down, to truly listen, and to create a kind of care that allowed space for healing, not just treatment. That realization changed everything for me. In 2019, while living in Hawaii, I completed my 200-hour Registered Yoga Teacher training — long before I ever became a massage or lymphatic therapist. That experience was my first deep dive into the mind-body connection, breathwork, and intentional movement. A few years later, I decided to expand my education at Fox Valley Technical College in Appleton, WI, where I graduated with honors and became a Licensed Massage Therapist. What began as a career change quickly became my calling. I fell in love with the art and science of massage — how touch, when offered with presence and intention, can help the body release, the mind settle, and the spirit rest. From there, I continued to grow. I became a Certified Lymphatic Therapist, trained in Manual Lymph Drainage (Vodder Technique) and Complete Decongestive Therapy, adding another layer of support for the body’s natural healing systems. At Rooted Willow Massage & Wellness Studio , I bring all of this together — the medical knowledge, the intuitive listening, the compassion — to create sessions that are completely tailored to each person who walks through my door. No two sessions are the same, because no two people are the same. My goal is simple: to provide a space where you can let go, feel supported, and reconnect with your body’s natural rhythm of healing. Massage, to me, is so much more than physical relief. It’s an opportunity to come home to yourself — to remember that your body isn’t something to fix, but something to listen to, to nurture, and to trust. If you’re feeling called to take that next step toward balance and renewal, I would be honored to walk alongside you.
Go on, be a good friend and share MassageBook with them. They'll love you for it.
