Hi there friend!
My name is Abigail Gae and I want to thank you for stopping by to check out my mobile massage practice.
A little about me:
I pursued massage almost by chance. I was having a conversation with a friend one day, when they mentioned that they thought I would be a very good massage therapist. I was struck by the idea, there was a certain knowing that I felt within me that massage would be a great fit because it blended the things I love the most; helping people, learning about the human body, and being active.
Throughout my training, I fell in love with an integrative approach to massage where I utilize relaxation techniques, deep tissues techniques, tools such as cups, aroma therapy, stretching, and energy healing for those with a mystical streak. Each session is tailored to the individual client.
The beliefs that influence my practice:
- Clients first. I will always structure my practice to prioritize my clients safety and well being. I do this by maintaining cleanliness at all time, by having an in-depth intake process to understand my clients, and by making my clients needs and wants the main influencer of how the session is conducted.
- Safe, therapeutic touch is an important part of a realistic, well rounded wellness routine.
- Massage is healthcare and massage is maintenance. Our vessels do so much for us everyday, from getting us to where we want to go, to allowing us to fulfill our potential. Taking regular care of our bodies, even if it is just once a month, is the best way to guarantee that our bodies will continue to give to us.
- Education improves intuition. I pride myself on being able to use my intuition, or best judgment, to give my clients the best massage possible. I believe that intuition is strengthened when one continues to stay curious and willing to improve upon their skill set. I am committed to continuing my education in the field of massage in order to best support my clients.
About my practice:
Currently, I am referral only. It is required on the intake form to provide the name of the person who is referring you, I will then contact that person to confirm. The exception is if we spoke directly in-person about you receiving a massage, in this case you will be given a referral code which is also required to enter in your intake. Referral codes are unique to each client.
