POMA Bodywork is a practice built on the belief that the relationship with the body is tended and cultivated with care. I've had a body for years now, and I've always enjoyed exploring its possibilities — as an adult, I'm continuously amazed by what our bodies can do with awareness, curiosity, and playfulness. When an injury or trauma blocks our ability to feel safe to play in our bodies, the toll it can take on physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual health can be anywhere from subtly harmful to completely devastating.
Holistic Therapeutic Bodywork includes Swedish Massage, Injury Treatment, Myofascial Release, Neuromuscular Therapy, and Energy Work. Every session is a customized blend of the modalities that fits your goals for the treatment. My bodywork style is shaped by the fascial system: the matrix of tissue that permeates muscles, bones, organs, and skin, connecting every layer of the body together. Fascia responds to slow, mindful touch, paired with breath, stretching, and gentle movement.
My work is for people seeking nervous system regulation and stress relief, mind-body-spirit connection, and those recovering from injury. Pain does not equal effectiveness — nervous system balancing can help reduce pain or stress more than tissue manipulation; entering a prolonged state of calm, trust, and safety in your body impacts healing more than any knot I can release.
