I have a gift for touch. I listen to the body, and the body listens back. I can help people become more in-touch with themselves and more healthy through the mind-body healing arts I have been practicing over the years, which include Zen Buddhism, diverse sets of yoga practice, mindfulness, reiki, massage therapist licensure and traditional Thai yoga massage certification. I have taught yoga and practiced reiki since 2017 and massage since 2020.
My work in Thai massage developed out of my love for massage and the kind of somatic bodywork you find in yoga. It clears the body’s energy and relaxes the mind with rhythmic movement, passive yoga stretches and compression so that (if you choose) we can go deeper into therapeutic work. It can feel more gentle than standard massage and create change that goes deeper and lasts longer.
Reiki is often experienced as a warm, soothing energy that flows from the practitioner’s hands to create relaxation and healing. It can combine very well with any bodywork. During our time together, just ask and we can develop practices to supplement your life beyond our sessions, such as DIY bodywork, breath work, meditation and mindfulness practices you can take into your home and workplace.
