I am a licensed veterinary technician (LVT) in the state of Texas certified in animal massage from the Northwest School of Animal Massage (SAMP) in sport, maintenance, and rehabilitative techniques. Additionally, I focus on trigger point therapy to help an animal attain and maintain the best range of motion and comfort possible. Specific results will vary for each animal, generally body work increases circulation, offers pain relief, improves flexibility and range of motion, enhances performance and decreases recovery from working and injury. I began to focus on trigger point and body work because my own animal was diagnosed with severe hip dysplasia despite performing at the highest levels in dog agility, and I wanted to help her have the best quality of life possible. I love trigger point as a modality because effectiveness is evident immediately through assessing range of motion both before and after. I also use PEMF and localized cryotherapy to increase trigger point therapy results.
