Meet Alexis McPherson, LMT
I’m not here to fix you or offer one-size-fits-all care. Full Stop.
I’m here to help you listen to your body, your breath, and the subtle patterns that shape how you move through the world. I’m here to remind you how to heal yourself.
My name is Alexis. I’m a licensed massage therapist who works at the intersection of fascia science and nervous system regulation, with a very special interest in biomechanics and neuromuscular patterns. I specialize in working with chronic tension patterns rooted in muscular imbalance and because of that it is a priority of mine to understand YOUR UNIQUE spine and holding patterns. My approach blends evidence-informed bodywork with an understanding of how stress, trauma, neurodivergence, and our most repetitive habits live in the body. Sessions with me are personalized and collaborative. Together we focus on improving mobility, reducing pain, and restoring balance to your nervous system. We may explore stretching, breathwork, nervous system education, postural awareness, or simple movement strategies you can take into daily life.
I run a predominantly BAREFOOT PRACTICE, using modalities such as Ashiatsu (Feb 2026), Sarga Bodywork, and Thai-inspired techniques to provide slow, broad, supportive pressure that protects my hypermobile body and offers deeply effective work. Any hands-on techniques I use - whether cupping, targeted stretching, fascial work, or even the most gentle supportive work - are intentional and goal-oriented. This being said, my work may not be for you and I'd be happy to help you find someone that would be a better fit.
I don't do what I do for simple pain relief. As a neurodivergent & hypermobile person, I built my business as a means to help other people like me feel supported and empowered. It's so easy to get sucked into learned helplessness, but WE ALL have the innate capacity to heal in some capacity, no matter where we are in our life journey. For extra insights (and a little inspiration), feel free to join me on social media where I share the things that keep me moving.
