I am proud to be a 6th generation Blanconian and to have served my community for over 25 years.

I grew up here in Blanco on a local dairy, where I hauled hay, milked cows, and handled all the other fun, full-time tasks you find on a family dairy. After high school, I studied respiratory therapy at what is now Texas State University in San Marcos. I practiced respiratory therapy for a very short time at Guadalupe Valley Hospital before discovering RT wasn't for me.

For the next 10 years, I tried my hand at a little bit of everything — from trading currencies, sales, and marketing to semiconductor production operator and stay-at-home/homeschool mom. While I enjoyed each and every one of those endeavors, none was a long-term fit.

After experiencing a life-changing event, I sat and wondered, "What's next?" I heard massage. I had never even had a massage at that point — what? As luck would have it, The Lauterstein-Conway School of Massage had classes starting in the next couple of weeks. The rest, as they say, is history.

Massage truly feels more like a calling than a career. I love helping people feel better, and I'm always excited about getting up in the morning and going into the office.
