Jocelyn Wallace has been providing certified biblical counseling since 2006 and began offering licensed therapeutic massage in the fall 2025. In her decades of biblical counseling experience, she has come to realize that the health of the soul impacts the health of the body and vice versa. Our soul consists of our relationship with God, thinking, emotions, motives, and desires. The health of our soul has eternal impact. Our body is the physical form that houses the soul. The health of our body is directly tied to the health of our soul. Scripture teaches us that body and soul are interconnected, affecting and being affected by each other. We are also constantly interacting in relationship with many others, and those relationships can sometimes be messy and difficult. In a world of people who are both sufferers and sinners, relationships can be both incredibly beneficial and life-giving, while at the same time being full of difficulty and stress. But God's design, purpose, and plan for humanity is perfect, and his teachings in the Scripture help us understand the right and good way to handle our soul, our body, and our relationships. Beginning from a base of trust in Christ Jesus and obedience to his Word, Jocelyn encourages her clients to do the honest work of tackling tough spiritual problems, while pursuing biblically obedient and authentic emotional health, functioning in real relationships with others, and treating the physical conditions that often result from soul and relational stressors. She loves to help anyone who wants every area of their life to be healthy. Luke 10:27 is Jocelyn's core belief driving all of her personal and professional interactions. “‘You must love the Lord your God with all your heart, all your soul, all your strength, and all your mind.’ And, ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’”
