Hello! My name is Sophia Kurtz and I am the owner and sole practitioner at Misty Laurel Spa. Misty Laurel Spa is located just outside of Wellsboro at 37 Oak Ridge House, a traditional full service Bed and Breakfast. I created Misty Laurel Spa to bring my clients an intentional and intimate space to escape the noise and pressures of everyday life. The name Misty Laurel Spa was inspired by the mist that can be seen rolling down our mountain vista view in the early morning. Our unique massage sunroom offers a seamless bridge between peaceful touch and the calming beauty of the outdoors. I strive to personalize experiences and tailor my services to every individual. My relaxation spa is designed to address high stress, anxiety, mental fatigue, mild muscle tightness, body stiffness, and restlessness. All of my services use Swedish massage techniques learned from my education at Harrisburg Area Community College's massage therapy program.
