- Wild Rose Massage and Movement is owned by me: Olivia (: My work blends myofascial release, deep tissue, and neuromuscular techniques, informed by a background in Structural bodywork, traditional Thai massage, yoga instruction, strength training, Olympic weightlifting, and a B.A. in Psychology. Sessions are tailored to each client’s goals–whether that’s pain relief, improved range of motion, better athletic performance, or simply feeling more at home in your body.
- I view massage as a collaborative process. With a holistic, trauma-informed lens, I support clients in building body awareness and recognizing their own capacity for healing and change. I incorporate movement education, corrective exercise, stretching and self-care strategies to help reduce pain and create more ease, energy and long-term resilience.
- I am not a spa. My work is mostly influenced by Structural Integration, which is intended to reorganize and integrate the body in its relationship to gravity by manipulating fascia and correcting patterns of movement. Traditionally performed with the client clothed in a tube top / sports bra & shorts to integrate movement and somatic exercises.
- I love working with athletes, people recovering from injury, those who want to learn about their own bodies, and nervous system regulation.
- Outside of work, you’ll likely find me Olympic lifting, practicing yoga, experimenting in the kitchen, traveling, getting lost in a great book, or spending time outdoors.
