Hello, I am the founder and solo practitioner at Nagomi Bodywork. My path into therapeutic bodywork began with clinical training in Japan, where I developed a deep appreciation for the body’s intricate structural framework and chiropractic principles. Alongside this clinical foundation, I carry the traditional Japanese values of intuitive touch and care that I grew up with—placing hands directly on discomfort to create a space of deep connection, safety, and being truly cared for. Today, my practice in Bend has evolved into a unique blend of structural precision and mindful therapeutics, where I seamlessly integrate Craniosacral Therapy, Biodynamic Touch, and non-force Osteopathic Modalities, blending them whenever appropriate to best support your healing.
When I chose the name Nagomi, I did so with a very specific purpose. In Japanese, Nagomi translates to serenity. To me, serenity is far more than just a quiet frame of mind—it is a tangible, physical state of being. It is the exact physiological moment when your nervous system drops out of high-stress "fight or flight" and enters a state of deep rest, repair, and balance. When your body achieves true serenity, the constant physical noise of pain and tension finally goes quiet, allowing your muscles, joints, and tissues the space they need to self-correct.
My practice is completely grounded in deep listening skills. I believe that true structural relief cannot be forced; it must be invited. Every session with me begins with a standing body alignment, gait, and range of motion (ROM) assessment so I can read your physical patterns and see exactly where your body is overcompensating.
Whether I am blending fluid relaxation strokes, applying mindful deep tissue pressure, or cradling your system with subtle biodynamic touch, I tailor every single minute on the table to your unique rhythms. My goal is to guide you away from chronic pain, migraines, or TMJ, and welcome you into a lasting state of structural peace and absolute serenity.
I look forward to listening to your body and welcoming you into a space of deep care and recovery.
