My journey to massage therapy has been shaped by a deep respect for the body’s innate ability to heal when it feels supported, safe, and understood. I grew up in a small town in Ohio and earned a bachelor’s degree in Human Development and Family Studies before serving as a Community Health volunteer with the Peace Corps in rural Paraguay. Later, while working in the mental health field on the Big Island of Hawai‘i, my appreciation for the mind–body connection became central to how I approach wellness. After moving to Bend in 2018, I felt called to pursue a more hands-on path to supporting others and completed my massage therapy training at Central Oregon Community College. My education includes Swedish Relaxation, Sports Massage, Myofascial Release, Cupping Therapy, instrument-Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization, TMJ Dysfunction Massage (including intra-oral work), Scar Tissue Mobilization, and most recently, Manual Lymphatic Drainage using the Vodder Technique. This diverse training allows me to tailor each session to your unique needs—whether therapeutic, restorative, or preventative. I opened Equilibrium Massage & Bodywork in August of 2023 to create a calm, welcoming space where clients feel listened to and cared for. My approach is both clinical and holistic, blending evidence-informed techniques with an intuitive understanding of the nervous system and overall well-being. Whether you’re recovering from an injury, managing chronic tension, supporting lymphatic health, improving mobility, or simply seeking deep relaxation, I’m honored to support you on your healing journey.
