Serenity Sisters Therapeutic Massage is a small locally owned business in Newton Falls, Ohio. Created by two sisters with a passion for helping others through massage. Find true peace and serenity through various massage and spa services personalized for your specific health and wellness goals. 

Late & Cancellation Policy: 

• Clients must have a credit/debit card on file, or they must prepay for their appointments. We accept check/credit/debit and cash payments.
• For client cancellations or reschedules, we require at least 24 hours notice. 
• For less than 24 hours notice, we require half the cost of the service to be charged automatically to your card on file. 
• For less than 2 hours notice, the entire cost of the service will be charged. 
• When running late, please notify us as soon as possible. As we take clients back to back, the amount of time you are late will be deducted from your session.
• If you are more than 15 minutes late for your appointment, you will be charged the full price of the session.
• No Shows/Calls will be charged the full price of the session.
• We reserve the right to drop any clients who do not respect our cancellation policy.
• There will be a 7% deduction for cancelled and refunded appointments to cover credit card fees.

Office Policies and Procedures:

Scheduling and Appointments:
1. Massage Therapists are not Medical Professionals, and therefore will not diagnose or treat any medical condition.
2. Clients must have a credit card on file for appointments, or they must prepay.
3. Please arrive 10-15 minutes before your session to fill out necessary paperwork. If paper work is already filled out, please do not arrive more than 5-7 minutes early.
4. 5-10 minutes of your session is needed for consultation and to get on/off table.
5. When running late, please notify us as soon as possible. The amount of time late will be deducted from the session. After 15 minutes late, your session will be canceled, and you will be charged the full amount of the service.
6. No-Shows will automatically be charged the full price of session, and must always prepay from then on. Unfortunately continued disregard for our time will lead to expulsion from massage services. (Please see cancellation policy)
7. Clients under the age of 18, require parental consent. (See Minor Policy)
Hygiene and Preparation:
1. Clients are expected to arrive clean and free of strong odors.
2. Clients should inform therapists of any breaks in skin, which will be avoided during massage.
3. Clients must inform therapists of any symptoms of any contagious illness.
4. Therapists will wash hands and forearms before and after each session.
5. Equipment and linens are cleansed and sanitized after each use.
Client Conduct and Boundaries:
1. Massage Therapy is a therapeutic practice and any suggestive behavior or inappropriate touching is strictly prohibited.
2. Clients are encouraged to communicate openly with the therapist regarding pressure, temperature, or any other needs or concerns.
3. Therapists will let client lead when it comes to the amount (if any) or duration of any speaking or conversation during their massage session. This is your time and we respect that.
4. Clients are modestly draped during the entire massage, therapists will only undrape the area being massaged. Private areas, including the glutes, will remained draped during the entire session.
5. Clients or the Massage Therapist can refuse any technique or terminate the session at any time.

6. Massage can sometimes induce emotion, and we strive to create a safe and non-judgmental environment for all our clients.

7. Hate speech or bullying of any kind is prohibited. We believe in what we do, and believe in fair access to massage for everyone.
Confidentiality:
1. We will never discuss your personal information related and unrelated to your massage sessions with anyone else.
2. Client Information is kept confidential according to HIPAA regulations.

Existing and New Medical Conditions: 

It is the responsibility of the client to keep the massage therapist informed of any medical treatment currently being taken, and to provide written permission from the physician, chiropractor, physical therapist, etc., that the massage may be continued. The client must also keep the massage therapist informed of any changes in health conditions. 

Minor Massage Policy

Serenity Sisters Massage LLC offers massage services to minors (8-17). All  minors need to have this form signed by a parent or legal guardian. 

16-17 years old | Parent/Guardian present at check in for first session.   60 minute max massage. 

12-15 years old | Parent/Guardian present in facility for entire session.  45 minute max massage.  

8-11 years old | Parent/Guardian present in the treatment room for the entire session. 30 minute max massage.
