Kamara's specialty is in Myofascial Release, which is the modality that built her reputation as a dynamic therapist. Her work is unique in that she uses myofascial release, deep tissue and/or trigger point therapy in conjunction with breath work as a holistic approach to treating musculoskeletal disorders, decreasing the body’s density levels, and releasing pain, trauma, and stored emotions from the body. Her approach is both metaphysical and physical. She picks up on where your body is storing stagnant energy through her intuition and the body’s heat signatures and then uses firm, sustained pressure to penetrate the fascia. While sustaining pressure, she then listens to the body to determine where, when and how the fascia wants to release and follows its orders. Even in your deep tissue massage, there will be elements of myofascial release as Kamara has found no other modality to match its benefits.
Kamara also administers a combination method of cupping that utilizes static and gliding techniques with silicone, plastic and infrared cups.

MOST PEOPLE HAVE NEVER HEARD OF MYOFASCIAL RELEASE. PLEASE READ MORE ON THIS LIFE CHANGING MODALITY BELOW...
What is fascia?
Fascia is a thin but tough, water based matrix of elastic, connective tissue that encompasses every organ, muscle, bone, blood vessel, nerve, and nearly any other structure you can think of in the body. It is one whole sheath of connective tissue, so when you affect any aspect of the fascia, you affect it all. Do you know that white, gooey webbing that is under the skin of fried chicken? That is fascia! And we are covered in it from head to toe.
What is fascia’s function?
The fascia’s job is many. Sometimes its function is to assist in musculoskeletal movement. Other times it’s to support structures like our skeleton or protect structures like our organs. Again, it is a singular network so when one part of the fascia is affected, it will affect the entire body. Fascia also stores memories and emotions. We can release these stored emotions and negative memories from having an impact on us by releasing the fascia.
Healthy fascia
Healthy fascia is fluid and malleable. It helps muscles and surrounding tissues to glide over one another for mobility. Healthy fascia also produces a healthy posture and improves body symmetry and alignment. When fascia is healthy, blood is flowing at a high capacity.
Unhealthy fascia
Fascia becomes unhealthy as it starts to build up and put pressure on the nerves, muscles, organs, and blood vessels. The build up is caused by overuse, trauma, poor posture, injury, invasive surgeries, lack of hydration, inactivity, lack of mobility, or the manifestation of dis-ease in the body from mental and emotional stressors.
Over time and as build up increases, fascia can grasp onto other structures and create knots, reducing mobility and further adding pressure onto structures. This unhealthy fascial buildup results in pain, muscle tension, body aches, heaviness in the body, and a reduction of blood flow. Think of it like a garden hose with a knot in it. The water is flowing but not at its full capacity. Blood flow is essential to the body’s self healing activation as it reduces recovery time and improves tissue.
