Selah is an invitation to pause—to step out of striving, even briefly, and allow the body and nervous system to settle. Selah•Somatics was created from over two decades of hands-on caregiving and therapeutic massage, rooted in the belief that restoration begins with safety, presence, and attentive touch.

I’ve been a licensed massage therapist since 2004, with clinical experience supporting clients living with chronic pain, injury recovery, cancer treatment, and end-of-life care. My work is trauma-informed and responsive, drawing from myofascial techniques, gentle mobilization, cupping, and nervous system–supportive pacing. Sessions are individualized, whether your goal is pain relief, improved mobility, or deep restorative rest.

In addition to my clinical massage background, I’ve completed advanced Mental Health and Human Flourishing coaching education through Light University, including specialized training in grief and loss, trauma-informed care, and support for individuals navigating major life transitions. This education informs how I hold therapeutic space—recognizing that stress, loss, and emotional strain often manifest physically in breath, posture, and muscle tone.

Somatic awareness is gently integrated when appropriate, always within the scope of massage therapy and guided by your comfort and preferences. Some clients come simply to relax and relieve physical tension. Others value a quieter, more integrative approach that supports both body and inner regulation. Both are welcome here.

My practice remains intentionally small and referral-based, allowing each session to be unrushed and attentive. You’ll find a calm, private environment where your experience is respected and your nervous system has permission to soften.
