Sarah Engen (she/her) is a Doctor of Chinese Medicine, Licensed Acupuncturist, and Board Certified Massage and Bodywork Therapist. She earned her Doctorate of Chinese Medicine in 2021 and Master’s of Acupuncture in 2019 at Northwestern Health Sciences University (NWHSU) in Bloomington, MN. Prior to graduate studies, Sarah attended the University of Wisconsin – River Falls where she earned her Bachelor of Fine Arts in Fiber Arts.
Sarah is a licensed acupuncturist with the State of Wisconsin and a Board Certified Bodywork Therapist with the National Certification Board for Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork (NCTMB). Her acupuncture experience includes treating patients at Courage Kenny Rehabilitation Institute, St. Francis Hospital in Shakopee, and at NWHSU’s Human Performance center. Sarah’s spa, bodywork, and esthetician training extends over 15 years of practice with 2000+ hours of training from the Aveda Institute Minneapolis, Juut Salonspa, and Devanadi School of Yoga & Wellness.
Sarah’s passion has always been within the realm of sports. She currently spends her time as support staff for cycling teams while providing private and community sports acupuncture in Wisconsin between races. She is one of the professional soigneurs with DNA Pro Cycling and volunteers with Minnesota Junior Cycling.
