Please be sure you have a space that is a minimum of 10' x 10' which is not in the flow of any home foot traffic, where I can set up my portable massage table or chair (a 3' x 3' space is required for the chair)
Outdoor spaces are wonderful and when temperatures allow me to work and not overheat, outdoor venue options under a 10 x 10 or 12x12 portable shelter works great too.
If Mondays don't work for you in Springvale, I'm available @ River's Edge Spa & Salon in Kennebunk Wednesday & Friday afternoons & Saturdays through November 21,2026
I'll then head off to Quartzsite, AZ for the winter season this year, December 26 - March 27
**********************************************************************************************************SPECIAL ANNOUNCEMENT 4/9/2026- I've received my Arizona Massage Therapy License MT50859!
As of August 23, 2024 I'm a Licensed Massage Therapist in Maine. I started and finished the Massage Therapy program with Allied Career Training Institute in Sanford, where I reside a little more than half the year.
I am thrilled to have continued my education, and finally finishing my college degree started in the late 80s, added to in the mid-90s. I then had this 30-year lull of motherhood and corporate work. In those years I also volunteered for my local towns and in leadership roles in my children's activities such as Cub Scout Leader / Den Mother / Pack Secretary
In June 2023, six months after returning from a 21-month leave of absence, my position was eliminated with TC Energy. My position throughout my employ, until my leave of absence/disability leave was Learning Managment System Analyst. I provided Corporate Training planning to meet PHMSA, OSHA & DOT requirements. I also supported the Operator Qualification Program for the company, training across the US, along with a couple corporate trips to Calgary & Houston.
Anyway, after I was corporately downsized, I decided it was time to finally go back to school and become a Massage Therapist. A profession I've Enjoyed as a Client for decades!
After meeting with two other schools, I settled on ACTI. I had the support of a couple grant programs in the state, one being the Competitive Skills Scholarship Program, and the other was through Goodwill Northern New England. I also thankfully had an additional 20 weeks of unemployment (dislocated worker benefits) to help me get through the 8-month program (advertised as 6 but the schedule worked out to be 8 months.
I look forward to hearing about you and your health goals that I can aide with therapeutic massage, customized each and every time.
