I have been a Massage Therapist since I was nineteen years old: first an apprentice at Complete Balance in Vermont and a student at CCVermont studying college nursing level Anatomy & Physiology as well as Massage Therapy; and later earning a Diploma in Integrated Medical Massage from The Hawaiian Islands School of Massage, taught in Kealakekua, Hawaii by Lynn and Peter Wind and Gigi Goochey. The school was a top seven school in the world while it was open and in high demand for education abroad in Japan.
My massage style is very unique to me integrated with Hawaiian Lomi Lomi, Deep Tissue, Treatment Therapy, Energy Healing, Hawaiian Hot Stones (Pohaku Wela) and my personal favorite Myofascial Release! I love working with Fascia, and it is a buzz-word for a reason: fascia is a type of connective tissue that is in every muscle cell and weaves through the entire body, and is the cause of many chronic muscular imbalances. Fascia can harden like glue and it is my job to rehydrate it and melt it back into it's fluid state. I may recommend appointments to be stacked until certain areas have been released and then continue with a monthly schedule.
Anyways, that is a little about me and what I do! If you are interested in working together, feel free to reach out anytime by text 508-273-6622 or even give me a call!
