Debbie Rhodes Mom • Mimi • Retired RN After raising a large family and spending over 25 years in nursing, I began exploring a part-time “retirement” career in bodywork—initially drawn to trigger point therapy, where I thought my journey might end. During that training with Coaching the Body Institute, I learned that neuroscience now teaches us that pain is always a protective output from the brain. We were taught how to engage the brain’s neuroplasticity—its remarkable ability to reset and rewire. Not long after, I experienced my own persistent pain that disrupted my ability to begin working and prompted a deeper search. That search led me to Microcurrent, Frequency Specific Microcurrent (FSM), and MELT Method self-care techniques and tools—including the newly released Fascia Hydrator, where I participated in an 8-week pilot study with exciting results. Most recently I have become Trauma-Informed which was like placing the last piece of a puzzle. At Align Myofascial, I integrate these modalities to support pain resolution and help your body shift from protection to healing. Self-care taught in every session.
