Hello! Thank you for visiting my page. My name is Marisa and I am the owner of Remedy Massage Therapy. I graduated from Ridge Career Center's massage therapy program in 2013, quickly completed the testing required to obtain my license and have been practicing ever since. Over the years, I have had the opportunity to work in various settings, including day spas. luxury spas and chiropractic offices. It didn't take long for me to figure out that I gravitate more toward the medical side of massage, and in 2016 I became a Certified Medical Massage Practitioner. The array of training and experiences I have garnered since 2013 have definitely shaped the work I do today. While I certainly enjoy the complexity of cases I see when working with clients who have suffered an injury of some sort, or those who have been living with chronic pain, I do still prefer the comfort and relaxing nature offered by a spa over that of a traditional doctor and/or chiropractic office, so I do my best to combine the best of both worlds. Whether your primary goal is relaxation and a momentary escape or to relieve pain and regain mobility, I make it my mission to ensure that every service is focused on the needs of the client.
