Welcome. I’m Jaeci Carr, founder of WholeSelf MedicalMassage in Littleton, Colorado.
Now in my 25th year as a bodyworker, I provide structured, rehabilitative care for people dealing with persistent pain, movement restriction, and unresolved injuries—especially when symptoms linger despite prior treatment.
One of the most important things I help clients understand early on is this:
Pain—whether acute or long-standing—has often been present in the body longer, and more quietly, than we realize.
Even when pain feels sudden, the underlying strain, compensation, or imbalance is frequently something the body has been managing in degrees over time.
The body is remarkably intelligent. Through homeostasis, it works constantly to adapt, stabilize, and protect. Pain is not a failure—it is often a low-level signal that something needs attention, support, or resolution.
Because of this, meaningful pain relief is rarely a one-session event. Lasting improvement usually comes from carefully unwinding patterns that may have been developing for years—or even decades.
The encouraging reality is this:
healing almost always takes far less time than the pain took to develop.
When given the right conditions, consistency, and skilled support, the body is eager to return to balance.
Special Focus: Motor-Vehicle-Accident Recovery
A significant portion of my practice is dedicated to clients healing after motor-vehicle accidents, including rear-end collisions, side-impact crashes, and complex whiplash injuries.
Accidents often create layered compensation patterns that do not fully resolve on their own—even when the initial injury seems “minor” or imaging appears normal.
I commonly work with clients experiencing:
• cervical and thoracic strain
• disc bulges or compression patterns
• facet joint irritation
• nerve-related or referred pain
• pelvic torsion and hip imbalance
• rib restriction and mid-back locking
• post-accident headaches or dizziness
• chronic symptoms that never fully resolved after an accident
These cases respond best to consistent, structured care that allows the body time to release protective holding patterns and restore coordinated movement.
Clients frequently share that this is the first place their accident-related symptoms were evaluated as a connected whole, rather than treated as isolated complaints.
Pain Resolution: Chronic & Acute Conditions
Alongside accident recovery, I specialize in pain resolution for both chronic and acute conditions, with particular focus on:
• neck and shoulder pain
• upper and lower back pain
• hip and pelvic imbalance
• knee discomfort or instability
• foot and ankle pain
• posture-related strain
• long-standing compensation patterns
Whether pain developed gradually or followed a specific event, resolving it fully requires more than chasing symptoms. It involves understanding how long the body has been adapting—and giving it the consistency it needs to let go.
Clients who approach their care with patience, commitment, and realistic expectations are the ones who see the most durable results.
How I Work
WholeSelf MedicalMassage is not a spa model.
Sessions are calm, clinical, and intentionally structured. Each appointment includes:
• a thorough intake and assessment to understand history, patterns, and priorities
• precise, rehabilitative bodywork aimed at the true mechanical source of pain
• a focus on restoring movement, reducing strain, and helping the nervous system feel safe enough to release long-held tension
Consistency matters. The body responds best when care is predictable, progressive, and allowed to build upon itself over time.
Clients often notice:
• reduced pain intensity
• improved mobility and coordination
• fewer flare-ups
• increased confidence in their body’s capacity to heal
A Steady Path Forward
My goal is not quick relief—it is real resolution.
If you are someone who:
• understands that meaningful healing is a process
• values consistency over shortcuts
• wants to address pain at its root rather than manage it indefinitely
—you are likely to do very well here.
If you’re seeking:
• medical bodywork for pain relief
• structured care after a motor-vehicle accident
• help resolving neck, shoulder, back, hip, knee, or foot pain
• a whole-body approach that respects both anatomy and the body’s innate intelligence
you’ll find focused, effective, and respectful care at WholeSelf MedicalMassage.
With steadiness and care,
Jaeci
