My name is Avery Ogden, certified and licensed massage therapist, certified and licensed athletic trainer, and the owner of Bodywork by Avery Massage Therapy, LLC. 

I moved to Colorado in 2022 from Vermont and I have been practicing as a massage therapist since 2014 after graduating from the Green Mountain Massage School in Hyde Park, Vermont. I have always loved massage since the first time I received one at age 18 and knew immediately after that someday I wanted to practice massage therapy. 

After graduating from the University of New Hampshire in 2013 with a Bachelor of Science and Board Certification in Athletic Training, I still wanted to go to massage school. I worked full-time while attending massage school and began my part-time massage practice in March of 2014. 

I have worked at a hotel, multiple personal training gyms, a spa and a physical therapy office and then worked at Bodywork by Wini after moving to Colorado, which is where I have been since moving here. With Wini’s retirement, I am very excited for the new opportunity to take over her long-running practice and build my own for the first time in my massage career. 

I currently maintain a full-time job in healthcare, while massaging part-time, but my skills in healthcare have increased my massage knowledge. 

My specialties include deep tissue massage, relaxation massage, cupping therapy, stretching-specific sessions, injury-specific treatments and hot stone massage. 

I am so happy and thankful to be working in this wonderful community and helping locals and tourists feel their best for all the fun and strenuous activities we offer here in our mountain towns. Thank you!
