Welcome to Moonlight Massage!  

My name is Jessica, I am a licensed massage therapist and the owner of Moonlight Massage.  My goal is to help you achieve relaxation and relief from any aches and pains that may be ailing you through relaxing therapeutic massage. I offer Swedish, integrated, deep tissue and hot stone massage all customized to your goals and preferences. I also offer wellness manual lymphatic drainage treatments as well.  

Availability 

I am available by appointment only. I do not accept day-of or walk-in appointments. You can see my availability and conveniently book appointments online through the 'book now' button or you can contact me directly. 

Location

I am located at 319 Seward St., Ste. #10 in the Shattuck Building (tan building) on the corner of Seward and 3rd Street on the 2nd floor. The entrance door is located on the left side of the building up the hill under the 319 Seward St sign hanging from the awning between the Hi-Tech and Alaskan Barber signs.

Parking

Off street parking is available as well as paid parking in marked CBJ parking lots.  Please follow all parking signs carefully to avoid getting ticketed. 

City & Borough of Juneau Sales Tax

All services provided are subject to CBJ Sales tax.  This cost is not included in the price of services and will be charged in addition. The current CBJ Sales Tax rate is 5%.

Insurance Billing

I am a registered national provider.  While I do not bill insurance companies, I do provide clients with a super bill upon request so client can work with their insurance for reimbursement. I recommend clients who are not familiar with this process to contact their insurance provider to see what they require and what is covered for reimbursement as some insurance policies require different things such as a referral for massage from a doctor, chiropractor or PT. It is the client's responsibility to provide their insurance provider with any and all documents for reimbursement. 

I do not provide diagnosis of any kind, nor do I provide referrals as both are outside of my scope of practice as a massage therapist.  

Gift Certificates & Store Credit

Gift certificates are available for purchase both online and in person.  E-certificates can be purchased online or over the phone and card certificates can be purchased in person.  All gift certificates have an expiration date of 1 year from the date of purchase.  

Store credits have an expiration date of one year from the date the store credit was applied to the account.  

I strongly encourage clients to use their gift certificates and store credits before they expire. 

Reschedule/Cancelation/No Show Policy

Appointments can be rescheduled or canceled online up to 24 hours before the appointment.  

Reschedule

Appointments can be rescheduled up to 12 hours before the appointment. The following charges will be applied for appointments canceled with less than 12 hours notice:

• Less than 12 hours notice - 25% of appointment cost plus sales tax
• Less than 4 hours notice - 50% of appointment cost plus sales tax
• Less than 2 hours notice - 75% of appointment cost plus sales tax
• Less than 1 hour notice - 100% of appointment cost plus sales tax

Cancelation

The following charges will be applied for appointments canceled with less than 24 hours notice:

• More than 12 hours notice - 25% of appointment cost plus sales tax
• More than 8 hours notice - 50% of appointment cost plus sales tax
• Less than 8 hours notice - 75% of appointment cost plus sales tax
• Less than 2 hours notice - 100% of appointment cost plus sales tax

No Show

Appointments are considered a no show 15 minutes past the appointment start time. Please call or text if you are running late to prevent being marked as a no show. 

• No show - 100% of appointment cost plus sales tax

Payment is expected at time of reschedule, cancelation or no show. An invoice will be sent electronically to the contact information on file. Failure to make payment will result in your account being suspended from making future appointments until the amount due is paid in full. 

Pre-paid appointments can be fully refunded or applied as a store credit to your account if canceled up to 24 hours before the appointment. Any remaining balance after applicable fees can be refunded or applied as a store credit to your account. Any tips as part of a pre-paid appointment can be fully refunded or applied as a credit to your account. Store credits applied to accounts have an expiration date of one year from date it is applied. 

Pregnancy/Maternity Massage

I do not offer pregnancy/maternity massage.  I highly recommend women who are pregnant to seek therapists who offer pregnancy/maternity specific massages as there is training required to ensure the safety of you and your little one during the massage.
