As you all know everything in this world is going up in price and I've held off for years but I just can't anymore.

I will be raising my prices $10 starting January 1, 2026.

One hour massage will be $100

30 min massage will be $60.

There are many other massage therapists in the area and my prices are at or below what they are charging. I've been a Licensed Massage Therapists for over 22 years and have vast knowledge on the body and massage. I also incorporate many modalities (hydrotherapy, aromtherapy, gua sha, cupping, hot stones, etc.) at no extra charge which is quite uncommon for most massage therapists you will find.

All of my expenses have gone up quite a bit over the past years from: supplies, to fees for my booking service, credit card processing, Amazon music, liability insurance, etc. I could go on but I don't feel I should have to explain or defend why I'm raising my prices.

My books are open for 3 months out  and at this time I'm currently not accepting new clients because I'm at my max, but things change so check back frequently or email me (shanamatneymassage@gmail.com) if you would like to get on a list.

Hello,  I'm Shana Matney. I've been a Licensed Massage Therapist for over 22 years in the Madison area. 

I've lived all over Wisconsin and out West (Colorado and Nevada), where I worked for the Rolf Institute of Structural Integration in Boulder, Colorado.

In addition to owning my Massage business, I have many years of experience working in the Spa Industry and with Chiropractors. 

I am Licensed for Massage Therapy with the State of Wisconsin #11682-146 and I passed the National Certification Board for Therapeutic Massage (NCBTMB). I am a current  Member of the ABMP (Associated Bodywork & Massage Professionals) and have held Membership with the AMTA (American Massage Therapy Association) for many years as well as other Massage Memberships.

I also have a Bachelor of Science Degree in Community Health Education from The University of Wisconsin La Crosse, and I take many hours of Continuing Education for Massage Therapy throughout the year.

I specialize in Therapeutic Massage which incorporates many different modalities such as: Swedish, Deep Tissue, Trigger Point Therapy, Neuromuscular Therapy, Myofascial Release, Stretching, Hot Stones, Cupping, Sports, and many more. Every massage is customized to the client's individual needs at the time of service. Aromatherapy, heat (hot towels/stones) gua sha and cupping are included at no additional charge if desired. I've kept my prices affordable compared to many others in the area because I believe massage is a necessity not a luxury.

Online booking will only show you the availability for the length of service you chose. You might be able to book a 30min or 15min massage to get in sooner, and then book a 60min massage at a later time. 

Massage is by appointment only. 

24 hour cancelation policy. If you cancel under 24 hours you may be charged full price for service. If you cancel last minute (few hours prior) or No Show, you will be charged full price and may have to prepay for upcoming appointments. I'm booked very far in advance and last minute cancelations can rarely be filled due to time constraints so I'm out that money and time. Thank you for understanding.
