Welcome! I'm Melanie Lopez Grewal, the creator of Whidbey Body Harmony. Massage has been a gift in my life since I was a child; there was something about healing touch that brought me into peace with myself. When I decided that I wanted to share an experience that has been so meaningful for me with others, I chose this name to explain what I hope massage offers my clients, healing through harmony in their body. My approach to massage is based on deep respect for my clients and a desire to listen to what they say with their words and through their bodies.
Our world calls out for healing. My vision is that the messy, complicated, bodily experience of being human is met with love, grace, curiosity and kindness. Through Body Harmony, I hope to support embodied, peaceful body connection through massage on South Whidbey Island.
A bit about me... I graduated from Port Townsend School of Massage in November 2021 and South Whidbey has been my home for the last few years. I felt drawn to the water, the land and the people the island brings. Two amazing girls call me mom and my partner Miguel and I believe this place will be our forever home. I value living a life that honors nature and treats all people with kindness, dignity and respect.
