I’ve been a massage therapist for over a decade, and I still love this work deeply. What started as therapeutic and injury-focused massage has grown into fascia-centered bodywork and prenatal care that supports the nervous system as much as the muscles.
I don’t rush sessions, and I don’t chase quick fixes. I listen. I look for patterns. I work gently and intentionally, because I’ve seen how much the body responds when it feels safe and understood.
I serve clients in Rice, Corsicana, and Navarro County who want thoughtful, education-based care — whether they’re navigating chronic tension, pregnancy, or simply trying to feel at home in their body again.
My work is influenced by the John F. Barnes approach to Myofascial Release. This method focuses on fascia, the connective tissue system that surrounds and supports everything in the body. When fascia becomes restricted from injury, stress, surgery, or repetitive strain, it can create tension patterns that don’t always respond to traditional massage.
JFB Myofascial Release uses gentle, sustained pressure rather than force. We wait. We listen. We allow the tissue to respond in its own time. I appreciate this work because it respects the body’s intelligence and often creates change that feels both structural and deeply regulating for the nervous system.
It aligns with how I practice overall. The body always tell the truth if we're willing to listen.
