My name is Tamara Sanchez.  I am currently a licensed massage therapist as well as a  PTA which gives me over two decades of bodywork experience.  My energy healing toolbox includes Reiki, Healing Touch™ and Polarity.  This experience has taught me to meet the body where it is and to treat the whole person.  For these reasons my passion is to treat utilizing the John F. Barnes myofascial release (MFR) method.

MFR is the primary modality used in my sessions.  Treatment may include soft tissue mobilization, cupping, acupressure, Scarwork™ and energy work depending on individual needs. I look forward to being a catalyst in your healing journey.

MFR - a quick summary of this technique.

The fascia is a three-dimensional connected web throughout your entire body.  Restrictions in the fascia web can occur from trauma or injury resulting in pain and/or reduced mobility.  John F. Barnes MFR uses long holds directly on the skin to provide a gentle sustained pressure to reduce the restrictions and improve fluidity back into the tissue. For more details and information please check out https://myofascialrelease.com

Scarwork™

This technique was developed by Sharon Wheeler.  This gentle approach helps to integrate scar tissue into the fascial web.  The objective to re-align the tissue instead of aggressively “breaking it up”.  It is not intended to be painful.  For more details and information check out https://wheelerfascialwork.com

What to wear for session.

Comfortable loose-fitting clothing: gym shorts or bathing suit bottoms (men and women), and swimsuit top or sports bra/bralette for ladies.

Please do NOT apply lotion or oil of any kind as this will interfere with the direct hand to skin contact necessary for effective myofascial release.

Cancellation Policies

*Cancellation Policy:

24-hour notice is required when canceling an appointment or you will be charged 50% of your appointment fee.

*No Shows:

Anyone who forgets or chooses to forgo their appointment without notice will be considered a no-show.  All no-shows will be charged the full amount of their appointment.  This fee is due before your next session.  All future bookings will require prepayment.

*Late Arrivals:

If you are late your session will be shortened in order to accommodate other appointments.  Arrival 15 minutes late will be considered a no-show.  Regardless of treatment length clients will be responsible for the originally scheduled session fee.

*Sickness:

Massage/bodywork is not appropriate care for infectious or contagious illness.  Please cancel your appointment as soon as you are aware of your condition.
