About Suezhanna Arredondo, LMT
I am a Licensed Massage Therapist offering client-centered, therapeutic bodywork grounded in education, lived experience, and a deep respect for how stress, responsibility, and life experience are held in the body.
My path into massage therapy was intentional. Prior to entering this field, I earned a Master’s degree in Mental Health and Wellness and worked in direct care settings supporting individuals with complex behavioral and developmental needs. I also served in the United States Army, where I later worked as a resiliency instructor, teaching stress management, self-regulation, and adaptive coping skills to fellow service members.
These experiences shaped how I understand the body. Long before placing my hands on a massage table, I learned how prolonged stress, physical labor, caregiving, and sustained responsibility can influence posture, breath, muscle tension, and overall nervous system response. Massage therapy became a natural extension of that understanding.
My work is rooted in anatomy, physiology, and nervous system awareness. I approach each session with patience and intention, creating a space where clients can rest without pressure to perform, explain, or push through discomfort. Sessions are tailored to the individual, with pressure, pacing, and technique adjusted based on what the body presents that day.
Areas of focus include:
- Swedish and relaxation-based massage
- Deep therapeutic bodywork, when appropriate
- Prenatal massage
- Reflexology
- Senior wellness massage
I believe massage is not simply a luxury, but a form of restorative care that supports mobility, circulation, recovery, and overall quality of life. Many clients carry years of work, stress, or physical strain. My role is not to force change, but to support the body in settling, softening, and restoring balance.
As a veteran, I understand the physical and mental demands that come with service, discipline, and sustained stress. I am proud to offer care that is respectful, grounded, and attentive, particularly for veterans and individuals who may feel disconnected from their bodies after long periods of pushing through.
Outside of my practice, I am a wife and mother who values community, integrity, and sustainable work that honors both the client and the practitioner. I am committed to ethical practice, clear boundaries, and continued learning.
My goal is simple: to provide thoughtful, professional bodywork that helps people feel more at ease in their bodies and better supported in their daily lives.
