I’ve been fascinated by health and anatomy for as long as I can remember. That curiosity led me to begin working in animal medicine at sixteen, where I developed a deep respect for how bodies function, adapt, and communicate. In 2011, that interest drew me toward massage therapy, planting a seed that never fully went away. Life took me in different directions for a time, and after raising my children through their early years, I knew it was time to return to that calling. In 2023, I went back to school to formally finish my journey as a massage therapist. I graduated with honors, was selected to give the commencement speech for my graduating class, and opened Beneath the Pines Massage Therapy just five months later. What continues to inspire me in this work is connection. I value listening not only to my clients’ stories, but to what their bodies communicate through movement, tension, and response to care. Each session is an opportunity to support healing, recovery, and lasting relief through thoughtful, intentional bodywork.
