Meet Your Therapist
Hello! I'm Jessica, and I’m a licensed massage therapist with a background in holistic health, birth work, and hands-on caregiving. My work is slow, intentional, and rooted in both nervous system support and muscular pain relief. As a Christian, I approach each session with prayerful care and respect for the way God designed the body to heal. Each session is tailored to your body, your story, and the kind of care you actually need that day.
I'm conveniently located in the building of Back Country Family Chiropractic on the west end of Billings, MT.
I went to the Lima Hana massage school here in Billings, MT and continue to learn and grow as a therapist through continuing education classes. This helps me keep up to date on the new and upcoming techniques so I can utilize those skills to grow as a therapist.
Before becoming a massage therapist, I was a certified birth doula. My background as a birth doula and a mother gives me the experience to understand the joys as well as the discomforts of pregnancy. This lets me offer prenatal massages and birth prep to combine both doula and therapist.
I also enjoy running and have done many races over the years. As a runner, I know from experience that athletes need regular massages to keep their bodies in optimal condition to prevent injuries and to improve.
First Time Guest
New here? You’re in the right place. I’ll walk you through a short intake, listen to your goals, and explain what to expect before we begin. You’re welcome to ask questions, dress to your comfort level, and set clear boundaries before and throughout your massage—this is your space to feel safe and supported.
Healing Philosophy
I believe the body knows how to heal when it feels safe, seen, and unhurried. By weaving in nature-inspired elements, focused touch, and mindful pacing, each session is an invitation for your nervous system to soften, your muscles to unwind, and your whole self to land.
(NEW!) Rooted In Birth Services
A nurturing prenatal experience grounded in local expertise. As a licensed massage therapist and certified birth doula with experience at over 20 births, I focus my practice on restorative prenatal massage and customized education visits to support your body and mind.
The Session Flow
Each visit is a seamless flow of physical relief and practical preparation. We begin with a 60-minute restorative prenatal massage to ease physical discomforts and settle your nervous system, followed by a 30-minute customized prenatal education session tailored to your specific goals and concerns.

Rooted In Care
I'm an experienced massage therapist and my techniques include Swedish, myofascial release, trigger point therapy, and stretching. All designed to relieve pain, improve circulation through the lymphatic/circulatory system, and of course bring relaxation. The following are the different modalities I incorporate into my massage sessions.
Trigger Point Therapy
This type of modality focuses on finding and holding pressure onto the 'knot' till the muscle area is willing to release. This pressure is usually deeper in depth and sustained for around 60 seconds.
Benefits:
- Pain Relief. Particularly from conditions such as migraines, fibromyalgia, and other chronic pain.
- Improved Muscle Function and Flexibility
- Better Blood Circulation
- Stress Relief and Relaxation
- Drug Free Pain Management
Myofascial Therapy
This specialized therapy focuses on relieving pain and tension in the fascial tissues. Fascia is the web-like connective tissues that surround every muscle, bone, and organ of the human body. I use slow moving, sustained pressure against and with the muscle tissue to help release tension and pain.
Benefits:
- Chronic Pain relief
- Improved Mobility
- Less Muscle Tension
- Stress Relief
Swedish Massage
Swedish massage is designed to relax the entire body with long flowing movements, kneading, and gentle pressure. It is used to promote relaxation and improve circulation of the lymph and blood.
Benefits:
- Relaxation from a sense of peace and calm.
- Improved circulation to promote healing to damaged tissues of the body. Also assists the body's natural process of waste and toxin removal.
- Pain relief. Creates an environment to assist the body to heal.
- Mood Enhancement through the production of mood-boosting hormones. Helping to improve mood and reduce anxiety and depression.

I integrate and value trauma informed therapy into my massage sessions. So, what exactly is a trauma informed therapist?
Trauma-Informed Massage Therapy
"Grounded in sensitivity and compassion, this modality not only acknowledges the interconnectedness of mind and body but also provides a nurturing environment for individuals to navigate and transform their inner landscapes, promoting healing and restoration.
Trauma-informed massage therapy is a specialized approach that recognizes the physical and emotional effects of trauma on the body. It integrates the principles of trauma-informed care with massage techniques to create a safe and supportive environment for individuals who have experienced trauma." -www.guidetopersonalsolutions.com/post/trauma-informed-massage-therapy
Trauma-informed massage therapy can offer many benefits to mental health.
- Emotional Release:
- Reduced Anxiety and Depression
- Enhanced Body Awareness
- Relaxation and Stress Reduction
How does it differ from traditional therapy sessions?
- Establishing a sense of safety and comfort. You are encouraged to communicate with me of any boundaries or adjustments that need to be made during your massage session.
- Choice and Consent. You are encouraged to voice your preferences to customize the massage to your needs and wants. Level of pressure, areas of focus that you want more time spent on, and areas you want avoided.
- Freely able to use your massage session as a time for breathwork/meditation.
- You are in control if you want your massage session filled with conversation or if you want peace through silence. I follow your wants by reading the room. I won't start conversation unless you initiate it. Or simply let me know you prefer a conversation free session.
- Incorporating nature into the massage room. Since I enjoy being in nature, I naturally add nature elements into my room to create a healing and calming environment.
