Self-care is an important aspect to creating and maintaining a healthy mind, body and soul. We store our emotions and stress in our physical bodies. Massage activates our parasympathetic nervous system (PSNS) a.k.a. 'rest and digest' mode. Massage slows our heart and breathing rates, lowers blood pressure and promotes digestion. When our body enters a state of relaxation, this promotes recovery. The more time we spend in the 'rest and digest' mode, the healthier we are.
I provide therapeutic massage. After discussing what your goals for the session are, we will create a treatment plan together.
