Massage to me is so much more than a luxury. It is important because our bodies are constantly in a state of fight or flight, a constant over stimulation on our nervous systems from stresses of all kinds including our own thoughts. We are bombarded by so much stimuli on a daily basis which makes it difficult for anyone to get to a state of true relaxation. With massage, we let go, even if only briefly, and allow the body and mind to relax. Myofascial release, reiki, cupping, thai yoga massage and integrative massage techniques along with all the basic massage techniques. I believe that using the integrative massage techniques gives a thorough/complete massage to affect both the body and mind to achieve the elusive true sense of relaxation. Infrared sauna, solo model, available for after massage or individual use.
Cupping is a very powerful massage tool that compliments the positive pressure that I apply with a negative pressure which lifts the tissue with the suction cup itself. The benefits of cupping are many but what it essentially does is lift and separate the various tissues; muscle, fascia, ligaments, tendons. This helps to break up adhesion (like miniature scar tissue), loosen tight muscles and most obvious to the eye is that it draws blood to the area to flush out toxins. Cupping can leave a temporary mark, so please ask me about it. You will feel AMAZING!

Life Coaching!
After almost 11 years of massage, it is quite clear to me the relationship between the body and our mental processes! What more evidence does one need than to look at our blood pressure (stress level) which raises when we are faced with stresses in our lives. Repeated stress means repeated bodily recording, i.e. tight shoulders, upset stomach, etc. and no amount of massage, medications and doctor visits will remedy or resolve these issues until we face the emotional, mental and even spiritual aspects of our lives. One can repeatedly try to fake it til you make it, ignore the bad, put on a happy face but all we end up doing is burying the thought processes in our body tissues which can then, with years even decades of ignoring, lead to serious dis-ease in our physical body. All this while the problem never gets resolved. We develop soft addictions - coping mechanisms - often in the form of unhealthy lifestyle choices such as unhealthy eating, excessive working out - professing that it is a way to de-stress and yet, if you were to look at it, the stress is still present and thus Requires one to continue the soft addiction habit.
Life Coaching is NOT counseling. We do not diagnose. What a life coach does, is help you pull the answers out of yourself, provide you with tools to recognize, face, confront, and work to change/resolve the stresses and habits that are not life affirming. Using tools such as the Wheel of Life, More or Less, Journaling, movement techniques, resilience factors, soft addiction solutions we walk you through the steps to a much happier and healthier you.
