Undwind in Time is owned and operated by Melissa Roope. She is a LMT, PTA and is a John F. Barnes trained practitioner. In 1992 she graduated with an Associate Degree in Applied Sciences as a Physical Therapist Assistant. In 1994 she took her first Myofasical course with John F. Barnes, PT and became absolutely enthralled with myofascial techniques and treatments. During her career as a Physical Therapist Assistant she had gained many tools for treatment of trauma, being accidental, surgical, or accumulative. It did not take her long to realize that myofascial release was the most effective and well liked techniques with all of her patients. Melissa decided to expand her knowledge and became a Massage Therapist in 2011 so she could reach out to more of the public. In 2012 she joined the many talented therapists at the Saco Healing Arts Center. Melissa continues to expand on her knowledge and has become an expert level Myofascial Release practitioner with completed coursework in 2014. She is very passionate about her work and enjoys assisting people in relieving their discomfort and pain to allow for a pain free active lifestyle.
