Hi! I’m Lisa Burch-Harney, Registered Massage Practitioner and founder of LBH Therapeutic Massage (formerly known as LBH Body Mind Therapy), located in Ellicott City, Maryland.  My husband, Gant and I have been living in Howard County for nearly 20 years. I’ve been a massage therapist since 2006 but decided to open my own practice in 2020 after leaving corporate america to follow my true passion massage therapy. I specialize in the relief of physical and emotional pain. I totally  understand the benefit of massage to have suffered  from chronic shoulder pain and stress.  AlthoughI graduated from Baltimore School of Massage in 2006, I went to Holistic Massage Training Institute to gain further knowledge on the holistic as well as the medical approach for massage therapy. Understanding that massage works well  together with those receiving physical therapy, chiropractic or just having a positive mindset can elevate oneself to heal within.   I tailor each session for my clients by warm/hot stones, percussion massager, hot towels, aromatherapy and various bodywork techniques. I created  a safe, relaxing environment where you will receive relief from the chronic pain in your neck, shoulders and /or lower back but also have the ability to inhale/exhale allowing the stress to melt away. When I am not working I enjoy spending time with my husband and our four awesome grandchildren.
