Elya Rowa, licensed massage therapist for over 30 years.

UW alumna, licensed massage therapist and member of the Associated Bodywork & Massage Professionals, graduated from the Atlanta School of Massage in 1990, named the “Harvard” of massage schools by USA Today. Elya maintained a thriving practice in Eau Claire, Wisconsin and continued to deepen her skills through the years, working with a pediatric Chiropractor and later practicing medical massage. Additionally, Elya went on to become certified in Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP) at the NLP Comprehensive in Boulder, Colorado. For nearly a decade, she taught mind/body alignment strategies to help people in there ever-evolving life transitions. 

All her work and learnings revolve around interrupting long-held patterns and bringing more mobility and wellness to daily living.

Specializing in deep tissue, acupressure, trigger point therapy, medical massage with cupping, studying the Trager Approach, Elya has had the privilege of engaging healing therapeutic body work with people in over ten thousand massage sessions since 1990.

Most recently, for the past two years, she practiced medical massage under contract with the VA at Precision Healing and Wellness, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, working directly with Veterans and deepening her skills with acute care needs.

Elya is back in the Valley. She is excited to maintain her thriving practice at Amherst & Wendell locations.
