My name is Katie and I am a massage therapist of 7 years and a massage instructor. I always strive to create a safe space where communication is encouraged.
Together, we will give your body the time it needs to release using deep breaths, starting with the top layer of your tissues (your fascia/connective tissue), then working into the muscle tissues, fascia/connective tissue, ligaments, and tendons after to ensure you get the most out of your session.
Depending on what is going on with your body my approach may be different depending on your tissues and how they respond to bodywork.
I pride myself on my ability to listen to the body, soften stubborn muscles and tissues, and promote healing through a careful balance of mind, body, movement, and breath. I look forward to working with you!
