Born and raised in Santa Barbara County, Kathryn attended Cabrillo High School and graduated in 2012. During her childhood and young adult years she competed in a variety of equestrian events, swam on her high school's swimming team, and was an avid hiker. Kathryn started to develop chronic pain in her hips, low back, and neck which in time prevented her from continuing her active lifestyle. Introduced to massage therapy at a young age she started seeking different therapies to help alleviate the chronic pain. In 2015 Kathryn enrolled at California Holistic Institute where she met her mentor David Goldeen; A well known Myofacial Release Therapist. Myofascial Release Therapy was the most effective treatment Kathryn has experienced personally and with her clients in the treatment room. Besides traditional Fascial Release, Kathryn has studied cupping techniques, fascial scraping, and utilizes a multitude of tools to address the fascial system. As well as incorporating PEMF therapy and PNF Stretching the goal in the treatment room is to to provide therapeutic healing, insight on body awareness, and educate her clients about effective self-care so their healing can continue to take place outside of the treatment room.
In 2023, Kathryn studied under Equine Fascial Therapist, Christy DiColla, and has completed the 300hr program/internship of the Zenma Equine Master Bodywork Program. Kathryn now spends half of her time in the office helping people and the other in a barn working with performance horses.
