I began my career in healthcare as a respiratory therapist. Working in a hospital, I often treated patients who received massage and reiki/healing touch as part of their care plan. I was amazed to see the physical results of these therapies on my patients—stabilized vital signs, a decreased need for pain meds and sedation, and shorter hospital stays compared to other patients with similar issues. Witnessing these benefits first-hand is what motivated me to become a massage therapist and energy healer.
Also during my time as a respiratory therapist, I attended many births and saw how many women lacked support while birthing in the hospital. This sparked an interest in birthwork, and I became a doula to help women journey into motherhood with the knowledge and support necessary for a safe and healthy birth and postpartum experience.
My approach to therapeutic bodywork is intuitive and eclectic, integrating energy work and sound healing with modalities such as WATSU® (see below), Swedish massage, connective-tissue work, neuromuscular techniques, Craniosacral Therapy, and stretching. I blend my background in respiratory therapy into my work by guiding my clients through breathing techniques to aid them in feeling more grounded, regulating their nervous systems, and improving circulation throughout the body.
Developing a trusting and communicative relationship with my clients so that they feel empowered in their own healing is essential, and we can work together to develop a plan to address their specific needs. In my pregnancy and postpartum practice, my goal is to not only support women during and after pregnancy, but to also hold space for them to show up as they are in their healing and wellness journeys.

WATSU® (Water Shiatsu) Is a form of aquatic bodywork performed in warm water. The practitioner gently supports the client’s floating body and uses fluid movements, stretches, and acupressure, in sync with the breath, to quiet the autonomic nervous system and encourage deep relaxation. WATSU® can help reduce pain and muscle tension, provide more movement in the body, increase joint mobility, and decrease discomfort during pregnancy.
