Together we will integrate mindful self-awareness through massage therapy, movement practices and breathwork that connect the mind and body. By cultivating body-awareness and setting intentions with our sessions you will have deeper and longer lasting results. Let’s get started with your first full body massage.
What does a massage therapy session look like?
Your first session will include an initial conversation to discuss your goals for our session, and answer any questions or concerns you have about receiving a massage. Upon your request, we can set an intention for your massage. An “intention” might be letting go of a stressor in your life currently or from your past. An intention might also be wanting to bring something new into your life, such as better focus or sleep.
Your 60 or 90 minute massage will be in a private room with a heated massage table, soft tranquil music, all organic, natural lotion and oil products. I provide aromatherapy and enhancements such as, cupping, hot stones and herbal heating pads free of additional charge.
Your massage session will be a combination of full body massage focusing on your muscles and myofascial tissue, guided light stretch and breathwork. You will be supported to achieve a deep meditation. Your intention will come to focus through verbal cues of letting go and letting in and continued breathwork. I will compassionately and respectfully encourage and support you in your process.
Every session does not necessitate a deeper meditation or intention. Each massage is customized to your needs!
