Welcome,
I’m Jaeci Carr, founder of WholeSelf MedicalMassage and a medical massage therapist with over 13,000 hours of professional bodywork experience.
Located in Littleton, Colorado, WholeSelf MedicalMassage provides specialized, one-on-one care for clients throughout Littleton, Denver, Englewood, Lakewood, Sheridan, Centennial, Highlands Ranch, and the surrounding Denver metro area.
My primary specialty is medical massage for motor-vehicle accident recovery, personal-injury rehabilitation, whiplash, persistent musculoskeletal pain, and the complex compensation patterns that can remain after an injury.
WholeSelf MedicalMassage is not a spa-based practice. Each two-hour session is calm, focused, structured, and rehabilitative in nature—designed for clients seeking meaningful improvement, greater function, and a clearer path forward.
AUTO ACCIDENT RECOVERY AND PERSONAL-INJURY CARE
A significant portion of my practice is devoted to helping clients recover from motor-vehicle accidents and impact-related injuries, including rear-end collisions, side-impact crashes, whiplash injuries, and unresolved symptoms from previous accidents.
Pain after a car accident may continue even when imaging appears normal or the initial injury has been declared healed. Muscles and connective tissues may remain guarded, protective tension can become habitual, and compensation patterns may develop throughout the body. Without focused care, an acute injury can gradually become persistent pain and restricted movement.
I frequently work with accident-recovery and personal-injury clients experiencing:
• whiplash-related neck and shoulder pain
• cervical, thoracic, or lumbar strain
• post-accident headaches
• upper-, mid-, or lower-back pain
• disc-related compression patterns
• nerve irritation or referred discomfort
• rib restriction and mid-back locking
• pelvic torsion and hip imbalance
• limited or painful range of motion
• persistent symptoms from earlier accidents
These conditions often benefit from consistent, structured care that helps reduce protective holding, improve coordinated movement, and address the compensation patterns that keep pain cycling.
Sessions may include focused assessment, precise soft-tissue rehabilitation, mobility work, functional restoration, and personal-injury documentation when needed. With the client’s authorization, treatment notes and other appropriate documentation can be provided for attorneys, insurance representatives, or other members of the client’s care team.
UNDERSTANDING PERSISTENT PAIN
Whether pain follows a motor-vehicle accident, develops after another injury, or accumulates gradually, it rarely exists without a history.
Even when discomfort seems to appear suddenly, contributing strain, restriction, weakness, compensation, or movement dysfunction may have been developing quietly for months or years.
The body is adaptive by design. It continually finds ways to stabilize, protect, and keep functioning. Pain is not random—it is information.
Meaningful improvement rarely occurs in a single visit. Lasting change is more often supported by methodically addressing the patterns that continue to produce pain, tension, guarding, and restricted movement.
The encouraging reality is that healing may require far less time than the pattern took to develop when care is precise, consistent, and thoughtfully structured.
MEDICAL MASSAGE FOR ACUTE AND CHRONIC PAIN
In addition to auto accident recovery and personal-injury care, I work with clients experiencing:
• persistent neck and shoulder pain
• upper-, mid-, and lower-back pain
• hip and pelvic imbalance
• knee instability or compensation
• foot and ankle pain
• posture-related strain
• nerve irritation and referred discomfort
• long-standing compensation patterns
• post-mastectomy or breast-reconstruction cording and underarm restrictions
Every treatment is individualized and clinically structured to address the mechanical patterns contributing to the symptoms—not simply the location where pain is felt.
HOW I WORK
Each session considers the whole pattern rather than focusing only on the area that hurts.
Appointments may include:
• structured intake and assessment
• targeted rehabilitative bodywork
• precise soft-tissue and fascial work
• mobility-focused treatment
• attention to whole-body compensation patterns
• support for nervous-system settling
• functional restoration and improved movement quality
Care builds progressively. The body often responds best when treatment is focused, consistent, and allowed to accumulate over time.
WHAT CLIENTS OFTEN REPORT
Clients commonly report:
• reduced pain intensity
• greater mobility and ease of movement
• fewer or less intense flare-ups
• improved confidence in movement and daily activity
• greater awareness of their body’s patterns
• a stronger sense of physical stability and relief
A THOUGHTFUL APPROACH TO HEALTH AND SAFETY
WholeSelf MedicalMassage remains a COVID-conscious clinical practice.
I wear a mask during every bodywork session and am happy to remain masked throughout intake and post-session discussion as well.
Between appointments, contacted surfaces are disinfected, linens are washed in hot water with bleach, the treatment room is thoroughly aired out, and multiple air purifiers operate continuously. The studio also provides abundant ventilation.
Clients are asked to reschedule if they have a fever above 100°F or are experiencing symptoms of illness.
A STEADY PATH FORWARD
My goal is not simply temporary relief. It is meaningful, durable improvement in comfort, movement, function, and daily life.
This work is especially well suited for people seeking focused auto accident recovery, personal-injury rehabilitation, or a structured approach to persistent pain.
With steadiness and care,
Jaeci Carr
