About Varu Massage

A part-time massage therapist and teacher of Anatomy & Physiology.

I like to combine an array of modalities and bodywork tools to find what works best for each individual and tailor each massage to YOUR needs. These could include techniques from Sports Massage, Thai Massage, Lymphatic Drainage, Myofascial Release as well as your traditional Swedish and Deep Tissue Massages. Tools I occasionally use include Gua Sha (scraping tools), Cupping, and Hot Stones.

Sessions can be booked as out calls (taking place in the client's house) or in my own professional space located within Pacific Northwest Massage Academy. For any chair massage events, bookings must be made at least 2 weeks in advance. My business is welcoming to people of color, the LGBT+ community, and people with disabilities. Whee...

I have had several “relaxation” massages with Ngametua and they have been outstanding! She has a calm, easy-going manner about her, and I typically fall asleep once or twice during each of the relaxation massages. I am in will continue to be a repeat customer!
