I created Tranquility Island to provide people a drug-free way to find relief and healing from both the physical and emotional components of chronic and acute pain as well as nervous system overload. What my clients appreciate most about me is that my own journey with autoimmune disease and chronic pain gives me a very personal empathy and insight into what chronic/acute pain feels like and what works to solve it. Our Therapy
At Tranquility Island, you will find innovative therapies such as the Vagus Nerve Reset Massage that wraps you in a warm cocoon of safety and comfort while stimulating your vagus nerve and providing unparalleled relaxation. Core Release Cupping THerapy takes cupping to a level you have never experienced before, pulling out inflammation, ironing out myofascial restrictions, and restoring blood flow and function to each of your muscles. Our Auricular Massage and Craniosacral therapy almost miraculously dissolve tension in your neck, jaw, head, face, and more.
We offer customized pain relief cupping massage therapy. We specialize in relieving fibromyalgia, migraine, headache, sports injury, back, hip, knee, shoulder, and neck pain, as well as prenatal massage. We also offer our relaxing Ahh-Mazing Tranquility Massage for those who prefer light, comforting massage without cupping. The Vagus Nerve Reset Massage also does not involve cupping and is incredibly relaxing and rejeuvating. Think of it as massage for your nervous system!
Our specialty is hunting down knots and smoothing them out of muscle and connective tissue with a mix of cupping and manual massage therapy, which may include deep tissue work or lighter pressure, myofascial release, gua sha (scraping), reflexology ball work on hands and/or feet, and jade rollers on scalp, face, and jaw. Please give the therapist feedback on pressure level and tools so that the massage is tailored to your specific needs and comfort level.
About Cupping
If you haven't tried cupping therapy yet you are missing out on one of the best pain-relieving, tension-reducing experiences ever!
Cupping doesn't hurt. In fact most recipients find it much more comfortable than the sharpness of thumb pressure.
Cupping uses suction, which produces a gentle negative pressure instead of the positive pressure the therapist uses to press into your tissues manually. Cupping relieves pain, inflammation, and muscle tension, as well as releasing myofascial tissue restrictions, helping flush toxins from the cells into the lymphatic system, speeding recovery, improving blood flow, and even reducing cellulite! Cupping also activates the parasympathetic nervous system, which puts your body into rest, digest, and healing mode instead of fight or flight.
Clients are enthusiastic. Many report cupping feeling "miraculous" for inflammation and pain relief.
The only downside to cupping is possible cup marks, which are basically like hickey marks, but in a perfect circle. Our goal is to apply only enough pressure to gently release the tension in the area being treated without marking if possible. Nonetheless, everyone's body reacts differently. Marks generally disappear within 1 to 4 days. (Usually much quicker if you use arnica cream afterward.) For a few with usual conditions or factors (i.e. inflammatory conditions, very easy brusing), marks could possibly last longer.

If we are in a session and can't answer, please leave a message. We will contact you as soon as possible and do our best to get you in at a time that works for you.
Cancellation Policy
Please be aware we have a 24 hour cancellation policy. We do charge the full amount for no shows and cancellations with less than 24 hours notice. Please consider that we have clients waiting for openings and must give them enough time to rearrange their schedules.
