Today I got a much-needed therapeutic massage from the lovely Ahira at Somatic Spa & Wellness in Benson, and I cannot recommend them enough! The last few weeks have been incredibly busy, and between long baking days, stress, and repetitive movements, my back has been so tight and sore. I’ve also been dealing with a lot of joint pain in my hands. After today’s massage, I feel so rejuvenated. My back feels so much better, and the tension in my neck is noticeably lighter. Ahira is incredibly kind, welcoming, and always makes me feel comfortable. She also shared some really helpful advice about movement and body mechanics so I can better protect my joints and muscles while keeping up with the demands of being a busy baker. She’s so knowledgeable, and I always leave feeling better than when I walked in. As an added bonus, they’re a wonderful Christian family-owned spa, which makes supporting them even more special. I’ve been seeing Ahira for about a year now, and I truly can’t say enough good things about her and the team. If you’ve been putting off getting a massage, consider this your sign to book one. Your body will thank you!
