        At SteadyGround, we see massage therapy as one of many therapeutic interventions that support people in living their fullest lives. Each session is tailored to a client's specific needs and can blend modalities such as Neuromuscular Therapy (NMT), myofascial release, deep tissue, and assisted stretching. We focus on pain management, supporting healthy movement, and developing body awareness that supports long-term health.

        We aim to not just implement change in your physical body, but also in how you go about your life after your session is over. We are interested in supporting the whole person and all that is needed to have an active and fulfilling life.  Are you a parent who wants to remain active with your kids? Are you a desk worker who wants to improve your posture? Are you a musician who wants to keep playing night after night while taking care of your body? Are you an athlete who wants to improve your performance and recovery? Whatever your pursuits are in life, we are here to support you.

         If you are someone who likes your massage experience to be interactive and therapeutic, we are likely a good fit for you. We take the time to learn about your health history and goals so that you get exactly what you come in for. Some examples of reasons clients may seek out our services include muscle tension, chronic pain, poor posture, stress, anxiety, limited range of motion (stiffness), or headaches. In addition to the hands-on time, it's important for us to educate clients about relevant self-care strategies so they can leave with a sense of what to do next.
