When Fascia hardens it becomes adhered - adhesions and scar tissues build. It becomes blocked and restricted. This can put massive pressure (up to 2000 pounds per square inch of tensile strength) on all the body’s systems especially the joints, muscles, tendons, ligaments and anything that lives in the soft tissue. Immobility and inflammation takes over. There is less range of motion and you may experience symptoms like sore, tired achey, shooting, stabbing, numbness, tingling, like your tissues are on fire.
