Welcome Shayla, Our Acupuncturist!

We’re excited to officially introduce Shayla, our acupuncturist here at Sagebrush Massage Therapy! After earning a degree in Psychology, Shayla realized she wanted additional tools to help people struggling with chronic pain and nervous system dysregulation. This led her to pursue Traditional Chinese Medicine and become a licensed acupuncturist. Shayla is passionate about working within a collaborative care model, which is one of the reasons she loves being part of Sagebrush Massage Therapy. Our team approach allows clients to access multiple forms of treatment in one supportive environment, all focused on helping the body heal more effectively and sustainably. She specializes in Dynamic Acupuncture, a trauma-informed and highly individualized style of treatment that she developed. This approach emphasizes education, personalization, and careful attention to the body’s feedback during each session. Each appointment with Shayla includes: A detailed discussion of your health history and current concerns A fully individualized treatment plan based on your needs that day Support for pain relief, nervous system regulation, improved sleep, and long-term wellness Shayla works with clients experiencing a wide range of concerns, including chronic pain, stress, sleep disturbances, and general imbalance in the body. Her goal is to help you not only feel better during your session, but also leave with a greater understanding of your body and how to support your health between visits.
